Dr. Chao selected for one of 2008 Health Hero Awards
James J. Chao, MD FACS	The Fresh Start Surgical Gifts Foundation has selected UCSD plastic surgeon Dr. James Chao as one of its Health Heroes for the year 2008. The annual Health Hero Awaards honor local businesses, medical professionals, and media personalities for their contributions, dedication, and commitment to better health for all San Diegans. Dr. Chao's special interests include cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the hand and upper extremity, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contour surgery, and the development of new technologies in the field of plastic surgery.
